Just got back from a drive and I have a problem with the brake lights, the indicator is working, it detects well. The lights don't want to go on, actually they may blink with the brake pressed but won't work continuously. And it seems that they work only with the car started. THe last bit may be a coincidence though.

Try shorting the brake light pedal switch, down in the foot well. Thanks

Easiest thing to check is the switch under the brake pedal, operate it while someone is watching to see if that is the problem.

If that doesn't show up anything, check the earths for the rear lights clusters.

Sounds like a simple dud brake light switch to me. Not unusual.
Pull the connector off of the switch, and short the two pins in it together to check.
Brake lights only work with the ignition on.
