How the hell do I retro fit the control panel cover? Do I have to strip/cut away the front part of the roof lining?
cheers

Both of my e30's with check control still had the full headlining but with the black moulding over the top, both left the factory like this.

Cheers,

Hello, there should be two (o/s &n/s) screw fixings on the panel you want to fit, they secure from the inner sunroof gutter. Then you should have a lip that folds over the roof lining lip under o/s & n/s door sills also lips around roof lining around sunroof. If the screw fixings are missing on the panel, then i am affraid it will never fit correct and no you do not have to cut the roof lining. Thank you
