Urgent Heater working on number 4 only

You need to find the resistor pack, sounds like its burnt out... it should be near the heater fan in the airflow,

i think its number 6, should have 4 wires going to it.

Where it is depends on the age of the car. Chris-W was posting up pics of the later type yesterday.

As far as I remember, there's some kind of obvious clip that holds it in. Release this and it pulls out.
There's a thermal cut out in it that may respond to cleaning if it's contacts are the problem.
Either get one from a scrapper (my preferred option), or ask zimmerbimmer1 for a price on a new one.
