can any one tell me(having fitted)how a piper fast road cam will affect the idle running on an e30 325i m20.ie will it cause a lumpy idle or remain smooth?mate of mine has one for sale with rocker kit which he never fitted, brand new.what would be a reasonable price to offer for it.cheers

You'll need to let us know what profile the cam is as to weather it will make the car lumpy.

I had the Piper 274/274 in my Tech 1, lumpy idle = yep
Power delivery was rubbish under 3.5K, flat as hell but over that, wohooo she did fly.
Given that time again , I'd still fit it

i got a reground cam, 276 / 276 Ԛ° 11mm lift idla @ 760rpm ..
i had lumpy iddle at first but the more i get it to a corect tuning the less it gest eratic....iddle nerly seams stock ...nearly ....
its just rough in traffic jams, but it does have a beter power band above 2K+ rpm... but power is flat from 5000 to 6500rpm...loads of torq though
