Started on the way home tonight. I took a small vid of the noise too when i was going down to the house so sorry about the slush sound.
It gets faster as i go faster and only happens when the car is in gear.
Not sounding good.

Had technical difficulty executing the video but sounds to me like the differential.
Its like a whining noise.

Maybe something adrift in the handbrake department?

might sound daft, but have you checked all the bolts are in on your driveshafts? if one of them comes out the metal thing that joins 2 holes swings about when driving making that sort of noise. (will probably make more sense if you look

)

it's very difficult to hear, but if it's metalic sound then might be differential, I've got that, can hear it going faster, thought it's disks or brakes but went to the garage they said it's diff, put some oil in it, so it's not getting worse at least, have to save some money to change it. hope helps

could be one of the c.v joints on the driveshafts or the uj's on the prop

sounds like when the pin holding the handbrake shoes to the backing plate has popped out and its rubbing on the brake disc but it would do that whether in gear or not.
