Air con, Retro fit ?

Can air con be fitted to a 325i sport,H-Reg, and is it avalaible as a kit or as secondhand parts.Also has anyone here done it ?

It's not really available as a kit (although there may be an aftermarket kit available), but if you can find the parts secondhand (not easy), then it can be fitted. It's a lot of work though.
I'm actually two thirds of the way through installing this into my H-reg Sport. The biggest headache is having to remove the entire dash to fit the A/C heater box. Not really technically hard, but very time consuming and a big old job. Once you have done it once, you will wonder what all the fuss was about though
The car itself is mostly pre-wired for the A/C (under the dash), but you will need to do some wiring from the fuse box down to the compressor and dryer. If you can get this from the donor car then all the easier.
You will also find that the body shell already has blanking plates in the right places for the A/C pipes where they pass through the bulkhead. You just need to knock them out with a hammer and punch.

i got a convertable WITH a/c!!!! so there!!!! But that dash out is a nighmare!!!!
