Hello Forum...I am new to this forum. I intend to install a chip in my 320i,
...I have read the article on this site regarding this issue. BUT my ECU is
from BOSCH...will this make a differnce...if so...where do I find some new instructions?

They're all Bosch units 8)

Check the last 3 digits on the part number, should be 173 or something like that, then email chips@e30zone.co.uk

Ok...jimbob...what about motronic units? What part are you talking about?
The number on my Bosch ecu does not end in 173.......004! please confirm?? :? .
