currently have a 318is. The baffle has gone in the rear exhaust and is starting to rot and generally needs replacing before I sell the car for a 325 but I cant find anywhere that will stock the exhaust ( for a reasonable price! )

If you don't plan on holding onto the car, you could get yourself a Bosal system, which will include the back box and middle box together as a single unit for reasonable money. If you want a proper exhaust, you can still buy original ones from BMW, not cheap, but what you pay for is what you get...

Try here, you will have to flatten a short section of the top of the pipe, near the hanger, you'll see what i mean when compared to the BMW item, it touches the cross member otherwise. No real bi deal and cheap. This is the Bosal system.

I have just fitted a Walker universal silencer available from your local motor factors for about £ 38.00.
I cant remember the part No. but it is at the front of the Walker catalogue.
It requires a bit of tube of the correct size fitting in front of it and a hanger but it works very well.
It is a straight through box so is a bit noisier than standard.
318 is.
