Right I have got the alarm in, thanks to CharlE30's instructions (cheers mate), but it isn't locking the central locking. Bugger, and the hor seems to be permantently sounding so I disconnected it. Balls. The engine starts etc so the immob is wired ok and the central locking works if I use the key, so thats ok. Even the remote start works, and beforre you all say it I know I'm not going to use it much but it seemed a bit pointless not wireing it up whilst the dash was out, and I'm going to put some micro switches on the gear stick so I can't start it in gear.
Any way any ideas?

Ok guys just been playing around. If I alarm then lock the door with the key when I disarm the alarm the central locking opens. That suggests to me that I have the wrong pin on the central locking unit for the lock up bit. Hmmm anyone know what pin it should be, I've got them connected to pin 7 & 6,
