Ok guy just a quickie, I'm installing the alarm and need to get the centre console out, I've got the back bit off but how do I get the actual gear stick surround away from the dash? I've got the popper out at the back and the gear stick / surround/ ash tray off just can't see how it dis engages from the dash when I wiggle it. Do'nt want to rushin and break any thing so thought I'd ask,
Cheers

Daz is right with the two screws - 8mm if i'm right.
Don't forget the two big plastic screw type thingies on the tail ends of the console (deep in the foot wells).
Look out for a glove box torch on the passanger side when you do get it out.

Done it, da dahh,
There was a screw above the passenger side bit where I put my keys, then it just popped out. Nearly there with the alarm now, wireing is such a drag, fiddly and I hve to stand up every 2 mins cos delving around in the footwell is so uncomfortable.
Cheers
