after replacing my old worn out cut and compressed springs ive bought some 80mm springs,

i thought 80mm was a big drop but im not happy with the ride hight.

its been lowered for about 3 days now but its not low enough, so could anyone tell me how long it takes for them to get to there true reading.

Mine's 70mm at the front and it makes me cringe to look underneath and see how close the sump is, and you want lower than 80mm? I would personally wait and see for a few thousand miles before going any lower................
But it's your car............Good luck, dude! :D

My H&R springs took a good couple of weeks to settle to their final ride height.

They're supposed to be -30mm but look more like -50mm.

Cheers,

its not the springs that are taking time to settle, its the dampers. Bear in mind, that the dampers are effectively still in 'bound' mode albeit very slowly. They're not used to being in this position and are not manufactured to be in this position, so it can take weeks for them to settle. Once they finally have settled, they're going to give you a crap ride, due to them not being within their nominal performance zone
