Hi

http://www.ground-control-store.com/pro ... =142/CA=97

The customer service is pretty poor and you can only use a US credit card to a US address to buy them on line.

Bimmerworld might be better.

Ah! Thats the ground control website. It doesnt even come up on google.

I was on bimmerworld yesterday and they look pretty cheap but as said, you do get taxed and bent over on shipping etc!

Thanks for the link.

As much as I like the look of them and all that adjustability,I just can't justify the cost at the moment

Looks like i'll be sticking with these for now(once there drilled of course)

No
Off the shelf stuff
£27+race spec bearings +vat each
No where near as :bling: as the Ground Control ones tho
And a bit more time consuming to set up

Can you adjust camber and castor independantly dave?

Any link for the website? I am all for the cheap option but there simply isnt any! Yank ones aren't much but by the time you have tax and shipping etc it just ruins the whole point

They look tasty, ground control ones are also pretty dam nice!

With these you can adjust the camber without having too much of a castor change

These came direct from the manufacturer

Website details here
http://compbrake.co.uk/

As stated earlier
£27 + bearings + vat

They can supply a concentric one as well
£24 IIRC

Because the E30 top mounts are not eqilateral in lbolt ocation they cannot supply then already drilled and tapped prior to fitment

You need to fit them to your struts and set these up with a camber/castor guage ,mark them and drill them then bolt them back together again

As stated above
More time consuming than the Ground Control ones(which do look nice by the way)

I think Compbrake could well be a rebranded TAS( Trans Auto Sport)
They did go into liquidation last year or the year before IIRC

I had a set on my E30 m3 in the states, and have a set currently fitted to my E34 M5 with KW V2 coil overs.

you will be limited on adjustment of the camber and caster if you don't either modify the strut tower (cut it up) or make a spacer to lower the allen bolts below the strut tower.

here is a picture of a cut strut tower that a friend of mine in San Jose has done a nice job on

if you have any other questions, feel free to ask. also i have A US bank account, so i can order them if you pay me with paypal. once the part gets to me in germany i'm sure it would be easier to sort and might save you some on big brothers fee's
