No 4 lead has a sensor attached which is routed around the front of the block and back under the induction manifold where it plugs into the underneath of a "plastic rail" which runs parallel to the block.
It looks tricky to route the sensor lead but impossible to get the plug fitted upside down in a cramped space.
Has any one done this recently ? Any tips to make this job easier?
Thanks, Sharknose

Thats exactly what I did on the missus 316i, carefully peel back the rubber boot and prise the crimped brass connector apart then slip the sensor on.
Try to get the sensor on in the same direction as the original, the plug on the wife's was off centre. Dont know if it makes any difference having it the other way round but best to keep it the same.
