Engine loom swop

Does anybody know the correct pin locations in the engine loom connector, to upgrade from 073 ecu to 173 i have swopped everything over and was hoping to fire straight up, but nothing from the starter, power to the starter, but no click nothing, please could somebody that has done this swop help me out please diagram or pin no-s , or is there something im missing? cheers Dave

I had to do this to my 2.7 Dave, but didn't have this problem and I'm not too clued up on electronics! I remember having to get the front crank sensor from a post-facelift 6pot and that was it

Hi Jimbob, ive got everything in, sensors the lot but the thing would not turn over on the starter, and theres also the problem of on the old loom theres a block connector coming off just by the ecu that goes to the obc and the new 173 loom does not have the same connector, when this is disconnected on the old 073 loom it will not start, theres two plugs on the new 173 loom one white and one black but i dont know what these are for, help Dave.
