Right, my exhaust has just about had it - I have bodged it plenty of times with exhaust paste and the like and the time has come to get it replaced! The middle section has definitely gone and the backbox isnt toooo healthy either. It once was a geniune BMW replacement exhaust - does that make it a 2 or 3 piece system? :?

I want something a little throatier but not "council" and have a budget of about £300....

I also want something that looks as close to the current system as I can as I think the angle two pipes suit the E30 the best - no twin upswept DTMs or rolled-in pipes please!

So options please! If I give it to my mechanic father in law to do it will be a boring pattern replacement so please help!

thats not a bmw system they exit straight out and look better in my opinion sebring are supposed to be good or you could try a custom made system BMw no longer do a stainless system but there exhausts are very good and a mild steel one might be within your price range.

You will have to look under the car to see if its a 2 or 3 piece system.

If you want something that looks like the original and isnt too noisy, it sounds like you should just get a standard replacement.
