Plastic clutch bearings do you need to grease guide tube?

Following a post of mine on discussion forum moaning about Plastic clutch bearings another member has advised to make sure i ensure no grease or oil is on guide tube, just checked Haynes and says to grease guide tube & bearing!

Can any one tell me what BMW do please to confirm please.

For further though this techie site recommend white lithium grease...beam me up scottie!

If its plastic no grease.

But put a little on the input splines and on the parts where the lever arm touches the bearing.

How about the bearing face/spring tips please? If yes should this be copper grease?

You should get special grease with the clutch kit.

You can change the plastic nipple to reduce the lever arm noise but you dont need to grease anything else up.
