Howdy,

OK, I'm pulling hair out at the moment - I've done a considerable amount of searching on here and I defo have an ABS sensor problem but here's the trouble... From what I read I can simply disconnect the relay until she goes into the garage to get the sensor replaced but I'm at a loss as to which relay I'm pulling out! :o:

eBay is my source for a Haynes manual which should be here by the end of this week but thinking back to my mk1 Golf manual, it never had the relay names.

Can any of you fine people help? The car is an E30 325i touring

Muchos thankos

You don't need to disconect any thing, the brakes will work like you don't have ABS until you can get it fixed.

If for some reason you still need to disable it you can take the plastic cover off the ABS pump and pull one of the relays out.

Ahh, ABS pump plastic cover eh! Thanks.

It's the problem when the ABS is kicking into action at very low speed just before stopping. I'll give it a try tomorrow.
