electric mirror fault

Hi all. Took my drivers door apart to install speakers. Reassembled and as I connected the mirror switch, the pass side mirror's motor wouldn't stop moving - without the ignition on. I disconnected the switch, found I'd blown a fuse. Changed the fuse, reconnected and got movement as normal from the drivers side but nothing from the passenger side except a clicking. Two more of the same fuses have blown, so I've set the mirrors manually. Use of the pass side seems to be the culprit. I presume it's shorting somewhere, but that's the limit of my knowledge.Any clues anyone?
