Hi,

I am stripping my E30 down, and want to put manual windows in and take the electric ones out.

Can anyone tell me how I go about this. Im assuming it is fairly simple. Where could I get the manual winders from please?

Thanks in advance.

Its just a case of finding a e30 with manual windows and swaping the whole lot over.
I am not sure but I think you will need the glass to as the runers at the bottom are diffierent.

Yep - you need the glass as well. Not just the runners which are different, but the glass itself as well.

I think I have a pair of the window glasses somewhere.

You dont need new glass if you stick with the same window regulator mechanism design.
There are two types, newer scissor type and the older cable ones.

Sorry! Could have sworn, and in fact did, that the glass was different with both.

Let me know if you have glass and manual winders knocking around.

Cheers
