Parcel shelf sun blind

Hi - have fitted parcel shelf with pull-up blind to keep sun off my leather - which cars had this fitted as standard, or was it option-only?

no car was fitted with these as standard option only

i have 1 off these on my E30 think it looks crap so dont use it

Yeah, I know what you mean - it doesn't look brilliant, but hey, its an unusual BMW option, so who cares??

For those that don't remember the 80's these blinds were very popular, they were often used to hide 3 way Pioneer pod speakers that sat ON the back shelf, they also served to highlight the high level brake light with built in indicators and those rather tasteful stickers that had XR3i or whatever in broken red writing accross your back window....

rear sunblinds rule... iu couldnt live without one..... i feel way to vulnerable and open from behind
