Torx Nuts On Block

Removing my 2.0 and ive given up for today as i cant for the life of me get one of the torx nuts out of the bell housing/block.

Haynes manual says long bar & swivel even thats a nightmare.

If its the very top bolt then get yourself a set of torx spanners from somewhere and undo it fromt he top using the handle of a trolley jack for leverage.

I've done it this way every time and you can just about get the spanner on the bolt head. Makes life 10 times easier.

God knows what haynes were thinking when they put that in cos it's practically impossible!

I ended up pulling the whole engine and gearbox forwards so i could get a breaker bar and torx socket in there (although the torx spanner method sounds like a better bet!)
