early cars (mostly pre-facelift) with loads of chrome usually have no indicator repeaters on the wings, later ones do. -pretty much the same price for a new one though...

yes I know, the side line looks much cleaner on my '83 323i -only problem is no-one bothers to look properly on roundabouts and the front indicators are hard to see at most angles -twats.

I dont think you could get away with getting rid of the indicators unless you can prove your car had none in the first place.

I learnt the hard way about doing away with the indicators , i got wings for my gte and plated up the holes then painted ......
Then it failed MOT on not avin em !
After a certain year they had to be fitted as standard !
If your chosen garage aint too bright you might get away with it , but i must say , the LED replacements i put on did look kind of GROOVY !

I swapped my pre facelift ones for post facelift ones. no difference at all, apart from the finish of the paint. (prabably cause its newer, but later panels did have more rust proofing.)

Not many e30's don't have side repeaters, think its pre 86 or something. Some ECP ones arn't drilled for side repeaters though
