I'd say filter, chip, bbtb, 6 branch then cam, but I don't know sh1t so wait till one of the tuning boys gets here.
Any more than a cam and you might as well have the engine out.

I'd fit a Zone chip, ask for the wild one
, then a Zone BBTB, then the Zone Z3 short shift conversion and see what you think...thats about Ԛ£230 all up and you should see another 10bhp and a much happier smoother lump. A new set of plugs, cap, plugs and air filter are always a good idea too
. That should see you hitting 60 in the low 7's and few extra miles an hour top end. Then a cam kit and a 6 branch and even the MAF conversion if you can live with the cold running issues, a cold air induction kit then a remap via a unichip and I'd say you should be on the happy side of 190-195bhp
. Those last few items are gonna cost you Ԛ£1500 maybe a little more depends on your DIY skills
. Then the infamous 2.7 conversion and you can ask some of the other guys who have done this for how hard and expensive it is. That's then gotta be knocking 220-230 bhp and will be a complete power house of a e30.
Or.....
You can stick a turbo/supercharger on and have 250-300bhp, should be rapid enough for anyone
