A few day's ago my battery went flat.... But for 2 days before hand the car wasn't driving right.. When I was pulling up to a stop the engine slowed and nearly cut out, then on friday the battery was flat.
I charged it up which worked but I decided to get a new one.... I fitted the new one and the same thing is happening... when I pull up to a stop the engine slow's.
I also noticed a loud whine noise from the front end when I put my lights on?
At first I thought it was the alternator starting to play up but I have had it checked and it's ok, the only other thing at the front where the noise could be coming from is the power steering pump... could it be that???
I'm planning to get new belts for the power steering pump and a fan belt(cheapest options first)
But what do you guys think the engine slowing is..... it has me stumped?
I've checked and cleaning the plugs and I'll check the air filter later this week..
