Hi can anyone remind me which wire does what on the electric aerial ,the red and white ones , i guess one is the ign live and the other the trigger wire from the head unit ? oh and any one know if its the blue wire on the iso plug of the head unit that is the trigger ?

White is the control wire. Red is power, but is permanent live, not ignition live.
Red plugs into the top left socket of the accessories connector at the back of the glovebox, and goes through fuse 28.
Blue on a factory fitted E30 ISO connector is car speed signal for speed related volume control.

I think the blue is the trigger and goes to the white wire of the aerial.
Then, again, i think, that the red is constant feed and goes to a power supply.
Black is just ground, earth it to the car.
