I'm currently running some spax (non-adjustables) shocks and springs on a 60/40mm drop on my 4dr 325i SE. I don't have any rubbing problems on the rear but I want to drop it another 20mm. I'll more than likely just cut a coil off each of the rear springs.

Only problem is I've got some quite a bit of camber and toe in already. I'm not sure of what to do regarding lowering it a bit.

I've also heard that 60/60 drop will change the handling negatively as oppossed to 60/40.

Woo that's a fun read :)

Cutting the rear springs on an E30 is not really possible. If you look at the shape of the E30 rear springs, you will see that the top and bottom coils are a much smaller diameter, and are used to locate the springs. It would be very dangerous to cut anything off them.
