I am in the process of replacing the rear subframe, where would you support the back end of the car? As you see in the pic one of the jacking points has been welded, is this still an option or is there somewhere else?
I have read a lot of threads about jacking points but none of them seem to answer this specific question. Any thoughts?

Thanks for the replies.
The car is up on ramps at the moment, the fun starts when I have to take the wheels off, hence the question. The trolley jack and axle stand were in position ready for lifting when I thought it looked a bit iffy.

Couldn't get the picture to work in the last post.
Trolley jack is under the sub frame mounting bolt and the axle stand is under the rear jacking point. I didn't release the trolley jack because it all looked a bit precarious.

Thanks for the explanation smithy318i, I definitely need some taller axle stands.
