Hi e30 Fans...
The front caliper (Girling) on my 325i Sport decided to come apart. It needs replacing.
Is it worth replacing with OEM parts or is an upgrade worth it?
If OEM - are ATE and Girling interchangeable (mounts) if so which is better?
If upgrade - what options are there. I believe Willwood make a bolt-on kit - anyone have any experiance with this?
The car is standard (chip + lowered) and used as aneveryday car, but I want to start trackdays and learn to drift.
Ciao
Paul

I've fitted the wilwwods on a couple of customers cars, they cope well with sustained abuse, even in 280mm guise, good pedal feel and very progressive to boot.
as for replacing OE with same as, its a cheap option, especailly combined with drilled/groved/whatever discs and some fast road compound pads, cost is a factor, OE will be cheaper the Wilwood, but less capable
decisions decisions
