got a stripped out 325i sport track car last month - and have found the zone v.useful - and worringly addictive
took my car to goodwood on saturday and had great fun - car runs h & r cup kit and has a cage - handled really well - which shocked me after owning an e21 323i years ago! anyway next mod will be some camber plates to give it a little negative camber at the front but the most important thing is to try and find a few more horses
so this is what i am looking at doing in the next couple of months - engine is completely stock apart from a k&n filter
bbtb - saw the tech article - are there any gains on a stock lump?
zone ecu - where can i get these and is there a slection of maps to choose from?
full btb 6 branch exhaust system - they are friends and i'll get a good deal as they are keen to do a full e30 system. will port the head at this stage put some larger exhaust valves and put a schrick cam in
re: schrick cam - looking at a 288 - where can i get these in uk?
would love to do a 2.7 conversion in the course of time - read about some of the cars on the forum - sounds a great conversion - but I probably won't get round to it for a while - want spend more on time on track than garage if i can in next few months
would appreciate any responses to questions above and/or advice on a better way of approaching mods. the car is used exclusively as a cheap fun trackday toy - and having had full race engines in other cars - want to avoid big bucks/high maintenance approach - hence reasonably unambitious plans - that's not say i do not read other people's posts re m5 conversions etc with interest
thanks for any help/advice
ross
