Central Locking...not the usual problem!

The current situation is that the front doors lock and unlock ok using the key in the drivers door, and they try to lock using the blipper. The drivers door lock doesn't lock properly and so they unlock (drivers barrel is pretty stiff and a bit knackered). So I'm happy that my newly soldered control unit is ok.

Unfortunately the rear doors don't do a thing when I use either the key or the blipper. They are currently permanently locked and cann't be opened from inside, does this mean that they are locked with the deadlock or does the blipper make them unopenable from the inside?

I've just finished soldering the red/black wire through to the door, it had snapped completely at the pin, this has brought me to where I am now, functioning front locks, non-functioning rears.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me, I have to get the rear doors open in the next couple of days as it is booked in to get some glass replaced!

How about the boot lock and the fuel filler flap lock?
Does the front passenger door deadlock?
I'm thinking that the deadlock is stuck on, and the deadlock motor in the front passenger is not working.
All the lock motors and deadlock motors are wired in parallel by soldered joints in the loom itself, so anything that affects one, should affect all, except the driver's door, which is a mechanical deadlock.
I have a feeling that if you sort the drivers lock properly, includind the over centre arrangement on the back of the key barrel, then all will be well.
