I have just recieved my m3 leather handbrake sleeve in the post this morning and would like to fit it to my IS what the best way to go about fitting it how does the old 1 come off?.

Slide the hand brake grip off the actual lever (Bloody hard work, lots of twisting whilst pulling required) and then pull the old rubber gaiter away from the console at the bottom - It just unclips.

If you need to remove the rear half of the centre console (I don't think you will BUT...!) it's easy - Just remove the rear ashtray and you'll uncover two bolts. Undo these and lift the rearmost part of the console first, it'll slide out from where it joins the front part of the console.
