rear wheels bearing and hub

im tryn 2 do my rear o/s wheel bearing got it all stripped but cant get the hub off haynes say hit with big socket or pipe tried that for a hour 2day and just cant get it to move any ideas or help from anybody whos done this before cheers

The hub of a drum brake, keep bashing it from different angles it wiggles off eventually, the bearing is a bitch tho, i smashed fook out of it while under the car for hours,, nothing. Took the trailing arm off, layed it over, a 32mm socket and a sledge later and it was out

no cant get to it because the hub is still on.

So you haven't got the Drive flange off, rather than the hub?

have you got a go slide hammer, makes life a bit easier but still hard work. had to do mine when i had to change the back plate. :eek:
