I managed to not see a pothole last week and upon having a good look on Sat it seems I have a flat spot. Outside edge is minimal, prob 2mm movement outwards, inside edge has prob 5mm of movement intoward the centre. The tire is losing pressure so I guess the seal has been broken, but I need new ones anyway......but can this be fixed? Has anyone had a flat spotted wheel repaired before? and where? and how much???
I had a local "good old boy" say he could do it with a 2x4 and a large hammer, but would rather use him as a last resort.
So chaps what do you know????
Cheers,
Mark.
P.s. one new wheel is Ԛ£195!! (without a tyre!)

I had exactly the same problem on the inside of an alloy after running over a man hole when the road was up so it stuck up more. My local tyre guy managed to "fix" it with a plastic hammer, so ok it's not like new but it holds pressure and has balanced ok, althought the inside lip is still out you cant tell unless you spin it on a tyre balancer.
