Most E30s can be insured as classics, but there are limitations, the most important of which may be that of age (yours).
Minimum age of 25 is common, as is annual mileage limits and the insistence that this is not your only car.

If you plan to use the car for commuting, i.e. driving to work, you will not be able to get a classic policy.
Your best bet is Admiral or Elephant. Although this is effectively the same company, you can play them off against each other. Get a quote online and then call them and tell the muppet on the phone you will sign up there and then, if they can lower the price. They work on commission and do have the ability to go lower!
