HELP!!! COOLANT IN PASSENGER SIDE OF CAR. AFTER CHASING A SLOW LOSS OF COOLANT OVER THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT ITS ENDING UP ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR FRONT AND REAR CARPETS ARE SOAKED. ANY IDEAS. JUST CHANGED ENGINE TO 2.7.

Almost certainly electric heater valve. MAKE SURE THE ORIGINAL RECALLED PRESSURE CAP HAS BEEN REPLACED!

How do you change it?
(sorry to hijack, just taken out my mats and found my floor is soaked on the passenger side still.)

It's the thing that looks like an electric valve on the LH side of the heater assembly.munky30 wrote:where's the electric heater valve?
Take off the RH panel in the glovebox to access it.
Change it by unscrewing its screws, and the hose under the bonnet.
