My lights are looking a bit dull - I cant afford to replace, so been thinking of trying to polish them? Any suggestions how, with what?

Thanks...

Take the fillament etc out, take off the plastic then warm water with some fairy liquid, then let them sit abit and hopefully they will be clean and bright.

I havent tried, but ithers have so I'm only going by their word!

oze30, what about the outside of the lens.... mine are pretty pitted - was thinking of using some fine sandpaper, and then going finer, but how long and difficult would it be? Is there not something else that I could use?

I was actually going to do this when i smoke mine...

I was going to use P2000 wet + dry, and just take a light skimming off to remove the pitting....

You would then buff with something like Farecla G3!! that would get rid of the hazeness (sp)...

not tried it yet, so not sure how it'll turn out, but in theory, should work!!!
