When coming out of a tight bend quite fast (roundabouts for example) I get a hesitation, which feels almost like a missfire (but doubt it is a missfire, because it never happens unless I'm cornering).
Some sort of fuel starvation? Although I wasn't sure this is possible with injection...

It is generally, but if you have little fuel in the tank, and corner hard enough, it can all slosh to the other end of the tank away from the pump pickup. When this happens, the pump can only suck air.Conrad wrote:But the fuel system should be under pressure??
The pump itself is probably okay if you don't have problems when driving normally. Try more fuel and see if that helps.
Also be aware that the pump WILL get damaged if it keeps sucking air, so driving with little fuel in the tank could be false economy in the long run.
Ian.
If it aint broke - Modify it...
