E46 Steering wheel into an E30??????

I've been told you can fit a Multifunction steering wheel to an E30, is this so?? Obviously the multifunctions wont work, but isnt the yokes/splines all different? I can easily get a E46 wheel and it would feel much nicer than my m-tec 3-spoker/come bus wheel!! any help much appreciated!

hi there i tried it in the past the e46 stearing didnt fit my e30 325i
