Maybe an old subject, but one that is becoming quite a sore one for me.
Where can you get exhaust parts for a 1991 - 1993 E30 Convertible for less than about £1000 in total!!!!!
Mine is shagged....and...whilst I am on the subject..why on earth is the system any different from a standard E30 318 from the same series? Their ones are about £120 for the system!

Please let me know anything you may suggest!
Thanks

My September 1992 e30 convertible has a cat. So far as I know, no saloon or coupe e30's were supplied in the UK with cats.

Kwik Fit (ugh) has sorted me out the last twice for rear sections. As far as I can remember the part was listed as a 320 part. It was a case of matching up what was there to the "all BMWs" page of their suppliers catalogue and, the last time, I had to go back 2 days later once the part was in.

Last time I had to look into this (about 7 years ago) I went everywhere and nobody could help and so I ended up asking BMW who quoted me about £1000 in all. NO WAY will I ever pay that for a tube of steel! It is not like my car is going to be around for long enough to warrant a new exhaust on it.......

Maybe having one custom made will be the cheaper solution??

have you not looked at
www.eurocarparts.co.uk

they seem pretty reasonable price wise

what part of the exhaust do you need?

All I can say is that Kwik Fit managed it about 2 years ago at dirt cheap cost, loath though I am to recommend them for reasons i don't entirely understand.

I have a near new 318i system here complete with cat and lambda. Came off a touring which is the same as a saloon. £50 collected.
