I've committed a sin and now I'm paying for it.
Bought an E36 318is as a daily run about while my search for a mint E30 continues :(
and the exhaust manifold has cracked. What I would like to know is since the m42 was fitted to the E30 will an nice stainless one fit my E36, I've noticed the intake is a different design but is the exhaust?
Also, any suggestion for good quality brands?
Thanks
Anthony

Pretty sure the E30 and E36 manifolds are different.

The M42 manifold is very good as-is, no real gain from changing it.

If you need one I have an E36 318iS fannymold in the shed I'm wanting rid of, no cracks and in v good condition.

Cheers,
