The service lights - the green strip of leds at the bottom of the clocks... are they supposed to stay on while your driving?

Sill covers - the black plastic things inside the door... how the HELL do you get them off without breaking them??? :x (and do they still sell them in the dealers)

Mats - The mats that ive got for my e30 have holes for a catch on the floor to keep them in place... but no sign of a catch anywhere... should i have them?

Hmmm i had another couple but i cant remember what they were now :(

Thanks in advance 8)

My car's green lights have recently started staying on while driving, but I don't think this is correct!

The floor should indeed have 3 little twist catches to hold the mats in place.

green lights in mine come on with ignition but go off while driving, i think if you go down to amber and red, they stay on

to get my sill plates off i prized the end one out then slide it off the rest, as not to break them and i'm sure the dealers do sell them, ask about and somebody will know the part number

and the mats sound like there out of another car, my e30 doesn't have any sign of mat clips but my e34 have wholes in the carpet and plastic screws that go throught the mat

LEDs should go out - SI board is faulty.
Sill covers come off by pushing them forwards and backwards, lifting the cover off each clip as they become exposed. If you're going to remove them often, then make some cut outs in the track underneath, so that it pops right off after you slide it slightly.
Remove all the clips from the sill and fit them to the cover to replace it.
Catches for the mat just screw into the carpet
