My s/r is not very well , the drip tray on the back edge of the sliding panel has rusted right off , i think it is a common fault cos i have 3 e30's and 2 of them have the same prob , has anybody had the same with theirs ?
If so can you tell me how to get at it to fit a new one , and how it is attached
Cheers Jibbers :?

When you say the drip tray, what part exactly are you talking about.

Do you mean the thing that collects the drips off the back edge of the sunroof lid, and slides backwards and forwards when you open/close the sunroof ?

Yes thats the bit , should have used the proper name , i found it on my parts disc but i cant see how to get at it , i reckon it could be held by the rivet also pictured , i dont want to go and drill it out cos with my luck that tiny rivet probably holds the whole car together ! ! !

Any body done theirs ? Cheers Jibbers
