Hi Guys,

My bro drives a '91 model 325i, recently it started giving some electrical issues. When i put on the ignition i noticed the brake pad sensor light on the cluster, and it seems that as soon as this happens the windows/fan/mirrors do not work at all, there is still power to the cd-player though.WTF ?
I don't even know if the brake sensor and the window issue are related..

help?

Unlikely to be a connection between the two.
Pad light could just be doing its job, be a poor connection where one of the sensors plugs in, or be the infamous 220 ohm resistor in the cluster.
Windows, fan and mirrors all lead to the starter motor! Check the condition and connection of the smallest wire connected to it.
