Trying to do a dummy run and muck around with the ms unit inseide but how do i power and earth it inside - can i cut up an old power supply or is that well dodgy!?

Didn't you get the stim board ?
It uses a 9v battery to power the main unit and has adjustable resisitors for all your sensors.

Liam, any good 12V source is fine mate, just make sure you connect to the correct pins.
Checking for comms is defo the no1 priority, you need it to setup the TPS limits before any 1st start attempt.

From my play today with my MS don't bother to try and run it from a PP3 9V battery, i had a brand new 9v battery, it lasted all of about 2 minutes...
