Hass, i checked with that BM guy on white hart lane an he said it's not a LSD. He said only the 2.5 sport's had them but there are some out there that have been retro fitted.

This is one of those questions that gets asked every few days without fail

Can I ask a favour :D

Can people list here all the practical ways to check for a LSD, and i don't mean do a burn out and see what damage you leave behind...

If people have pics of the tags / S markings then please add them here, it's time for a new article!!!

1) Raise both rear wheels, turn one of them by hand and the other wheel will move in the same direction (relative to the direction of the car).
2)

I've rarely seen a legible tag!

Go get an lsd for your touring hass mate.

It makes a world of DIFFerence!

3.64 is best.

I gota 3.9 and although its good in a straight line its not so hot up hill.

Will set you back 200 quid.

Mark's just referring to the one of the usual responses to this question, not to your post. Fret not.

it wasn't only 325i sport that had them (yes they had standard). but as with any car of this type they had an options catalogue. my 87 325i SE Auto has one in 3.64 ratio along with AC and sun blind, OBC etc
