hi,my 325 mpg needle is buggered,so can i use the 318 clocks? do i need to change that chip thing in the bottom?? also do i definetly need to put the 325i fuel lines in the 318? why wont the 318 ones be ok? cheers

You willo be able to use the 318i clocks if you change the coding plug no problems.

The fuel lines from the 318i should be fine for the 325i as long as they reach.

How did you find the power steering pump, as the 4 cylinder engine is a lot shorter, the pump won't reach to fit on the 6 cylinder engine. Have you looked at this yet?

to be honest,i thought they looked long enough! are they not? if not i'll get the 325 pipes from the scrappy! cheers for that! lets hope the 318 fuel lines reach then,they should reach one because one go's right near the bulk head,maybe the one that go's to the pressure valve could be short,i'll have to extend it if it is. my main concern for the whole conversion is the check panel,i'm hoping it isnt gonna be a grueling job,a plug in would do nicely!! a fella on here who works at bmw tells me all e30 looms are the sam so i should be able to just connect it,any ideas?

Im pritty sure the check computer needs a full rewire of the car loom but i aint 100%, a few people on here have said that anyway, have u actually done the conversion mate, mine is getting done soon, just looking for a manual 325i gearbox and prop!
