hi ppl

my e30 (calypso red) had a few stone chips and scratches on the wing mirror. these stone chips and scratches have been touched up with a paint which isnt quite the same colour or if it is, the original colour has faded a bit and the new colour shows up a bit too much.

was just wondering what you would do? try and somehow remove this new paint and touch up using a bmw touch up paint??

Try using T-Cut or another cutting compound (G3?) to remove the wrong colour touch up.

Get the proper colour touch-up stick from BMW for a couple of quid and redo it! :)

if you dont find the exact paint, i would paint both mirrors black or white (depending on the colour of your car), seen this a couple times and it gives a nice effect
