Hey guys, it's that time of year again :(

Only minor things I am worried about mostly but 1 thing that is bugging me is me PAS rack is leaking (medium bad leak). Is this a fail? (I think it is)

I can't see where it's coming from, I suspect its from the unions. I presume looking at it you can lower the rack out without too much effort and replace the seals?

Would a replacement rack just be easier as I don't seem to be able to get the gasket rings on the pipe joints anymore, stealers have a 'Gasket Kit' but at £50+vat I think thats probably the internal ones in the rack itself.

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated :)

if u can get a rack easily enough i would just put a new rack in, quicker to do it that way. then when the old rack is out u can strip it down a refurb it and have a new one as spare! if the banjo's are the leaking point u need new copper washers!

trying to fit my p/s rack at the mo to no avail!

I am thinking along the same lines at the moment too, might go for an e36 one as they are slighty quicker anyway. I presume the connections to the pump are the same as the e30 rack? Would also be easier to get an e36 one over here in NI..

and looking at the article and the time frame involved.. it's going to be an e30 rack I suspect..
