I am part way through cleaning the interior carpeted panels in my boot, I have done the back panel, and the lids, but how do I remove the actual side panels? I can see that there is a screw revealed by the lids at the very end of the trim, and there are some plastic nuts fixing it to the floor, but is that it? Is there any trick to removing these?
Also, I want to remove the large trim section on the interior of the tailgate, to cure a rattle (hopefully cure a rattle), I can see that it is held on by a screw at each end, but is that it? I don't want to snap any clips when I pull it off.
Thanks!

Yep, screw under the side panel doors, two(?) plastic bolts and you need to unscrew the load cover mounts.FlashBastd wrote:I am part way through cleaning the interior carpeted panels in my boot, I have done the back panel, and the lids, but how do I remove the actual side panels? I can't remember if you also have to take the rear seat side bolsters off ?
Sorry, i can't help about the tail gate trim as i've never had mine off.
Just did this myself. Dead simple. You'll find that there is one more screw per side hidden up inside the cubby, running through an L bracket near the bottom edge of the window.
Removal and re-installation is much easier if you pull off the side seat bolsters, too. They just slide straight up towards the ceiling (although you may find a plastic clip down near the bottom corner of the door frame, too). When you re-install, you'll need to pry up the rubber gasket at the bottom of the fixed quarter window.
To remove the big plastic trim on the tailgate--or any trim for that matter, it's best to use a trim pulling tool if you have one. Looks kinda like a fork with only two big flat prongs. After you remove the two tiny screws, there should be about seven plastic pop clips holding it on--much like the clips that hold the interior door trim on.
Let us know if you solve the rattle. I find that even if properly installed, that giant piece of plastic is always flexing and groaning over the bumps. I think I'm going to stuff a bunch of old socks in mine to make it sound more solid!

Hmm, stuffing it with socks? That might just work!
Thanks for the help guys, As well as hunting rattles, I have been cleaning my boot trims, but I reckon the larger ones will have to wait for a few weeks.
I got the boot trim off last night, with all clips intact, but one still in the actual boot lid, still because I was able to slide this one from it's mounting on the trim at least nothing was damaged. I am off to work shortly, and am hoping that with the trim in my hallway, rather than fixed to the boot lid, that the rattle will be cured and I can start to refit it with more deadening.
