Hi again everyone, after the much appreciated help with my recent boot problem, I thought I'd ask for some more advice. About a year ago I had my 316i serviced and new plugs were fitted with BMW printed on them and like 3 elements around the edge of the electrode, now I just bought some more new ones, as I have done a lot of miles, and I bought the ones as suggested in Haynes, and they are the standard type of plug. What is the benefit of one over the other (if any) please? Will either make for better fuel economy? Your thoughts or advice greatly appreciated.
THanks again,
bazman

the triple electrode plugs are less prone to fouling up, BMW list those as the "super" plug, only real upside is they last longer and the gaps dont need resetting as often.
